Road Trip part II

Happy Mother's Day
The next morning we got up and headed to South Carolina. Mom and I went shopping that evening and had a blast. Gabriel got to hang out with his daddy and granddaddy. We spent Mother's Day at my parents church where all the mothers were honored with beautiful roses. It was a very special day. While we were in SC we ate at several delicious restaurants. One of my favorites was Websters in Mullins. It was so wonderful, good ole' home cooking. While we were in SC we also took Gabriel to dad's office to meet his office staff. It was determined then that Gabriel really takes after my dad since they're both bald headed, pot bellied, big eared and bowl legged (per Wes at the NRCS office.)When Wes said that, we all laughed, it's so true. So many people have said he looks like my dad. Gabriel, when you read this when you're older take it as a compliment. Your Granddaddy is an amazing man. If you know my dad, you'll see the resemblance. We had such a wonderful time with my parents. Gabriel got to splash Nana in the tub! We are so blessed. We went home early Thursday morning (left at 3:30 am) and got home around 1:30. It was a long trip but a good one.
