So Gabriel absolutely loves to eat. However, he is a very messy eater. He eats his oatmeal like it's going out of style. This is what he looked like one night when Daddy fed him.

Yesterday Matt received word from the KY CPA that he is now an offical Certified Public Account. Matt (Daddy) we are SO proud of you. You have worked so hard for this and we love you very much!!!! You are an amazing husband and father!

Sleepy Time

We always place Gabriel on his back to sleep but every morning when I go in his room to check on him he seems to be in a different position. This is the way we found him one morning.

Swimming is so much fun

So Gabriel loves the pool. We took him to the pool on Sunday afternoon and he just floated around the baby pool in his float. He thought he was so big. He learned to push off the concrete with his feet and to move around. He would come to us when we called him. I'm hoping that with us introducting him to water at such an early age he'll love it! Maybe next year we can enroll him in swim lessons.

4 months old

Gabriel thinks he is a big boy now that he is 4 months old. Today we went for his 4 month check. He was 24 inches long and 14.14 pounds. His Doctor said he can start solids at 5 months so for now he's on cereal and milk. He had two shots today with a mixture of immunizations. He wasn't a happy camper when they stuck him, poor thing cried for several minutes. Hopefully he'll have a good night, last night he slept for 9 1/2 hours straight, that was the first time he'd slept through the night entirely. In fact, I had to wake him at 6 to feed him. He loves his cereal. He can't get enough of it. He's such a big boy!

Gabriel seems to be growing so fast. It's hard to believe he'll be 4 months old in just a few days! He's discovering something new every day and loving every minute of it. He's got eating cereal down pat and is doing pretty good with it. Thankfully he's just getting up once in the night. For the longest he got up twice each night and being a working mom, it took a toll on me. Now that he's older, I'm hoping he'd going to continue to improve. On Memorial Day we took him to the pool for the very first time. He wasn't sure what to think. Thankfully he didn't cry or scream, he just sat there and let us play with him in the water.
