It's been a while

Okay, so it's been a while since I've posted anything on here. Good news is, the bathroom is almost finished so hopefully our lives will get back to "normal." Here lately Gabriel has gotten a lot more moble. We had him playing in the living room floor last night and before I knew it he was across the room. He's learned to roll like no man's business. He's also preparing himself to crawl. He's got going backwards down pat, if we could just teach him to move in the right direction. Oh! We experimented with finger paints the other night. It was a lot messier than I imagined. Thankfully we stripped him down to his diaper and put him in his high chair. He had a blast though, he was a little sad when he couldn't eat it. He's at the stage where everything goes in his mouth. Last night I was trying to look at a magazing and I had him in my lap trying to entertain him. He managed to rip out a page or two, guess he didn't want me reading those pages! Then he proceeded to stuff them in his mouth. Yuck. For Labor Day weekend we went to Murray and spent time with Grammy and Pop Paw. We went to a family reunion on Saturday in Milan, TN. Needless to say we didn't see much of Gabriel. He kept being taken away from us by relatives. He loved everybody there! We had a blast watching all the kids play and ride on the 4wheeler! I'm so glad we were able to be a part of this get together. Gabriel took his first tractor ride with Pop-Paw over the weekend. I don't know who had more fun, Gabriel or Pop-Paw! Too cute.
